Making A Difference
Empower Girls Plus is a national youth-led association whose mission is to promote sustainable youth development through various key intervention areas. These areas include education and life skill development, health and development including sexual health reproductive rights, and avoidance of sexual and gender based violence. We also undertake civic engagement and human rights promotion, including LGBTI rights. Livelihoods and social entrepreneurship development is the final focus area in our quest to enhance youth development and sustainability in the communities we serve.

Education
Promote the education of adolescent girls and young women and other disempowered children and young people by supporting the provision of requisite facilities. This is done through sponsorship, arts and sports, vocational, and mentorship programs.
Health & Development
At the heart of sustainable community development lies the fundamental right to health and wellbeing. Our integrated health programs focus on critical areas that affect communities across the developing world, taking a holistic approach to healthcare access, education, and infrastructure development. The current critical areas that we have identified are; SRHR (Sexual Reproductive Health Rights), mental health, tropical diseases, and WASH (water sanitation and hygiene).
Civic Engagement & Human Rights
We believe that informed and engaged citizens are the foundation of a thriving democracy. Our civic engagement and rights programs empower communities to understand, exercise, and protect their fundamental rights while actively participating in democratic processes. Our main guiding principles are advocacy, elimination of sexual and gender based violence (SGBV), referrals, and linkages and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Our livelihoods program catalyzes sustainable economic growth through innovative partnerships, social enterprise development, and SME support. We believe in creating resilient economic ecosystems that generate lasting social impact while building financially sustainable ventures.
